Parallel 41 LLC ("Parallel 41," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI consulting firm based in northern Utah. Our website is located at parallel41.ai. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@parallel41.ai.

2. What information we collect

We collect only the information necessary to respond to your inquiries and deliver our services. This includes:

• Contact form submissions: When you use the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This information is transmitted through Web3Forms and delivered directly to us.
• Direct communications: If you email us directly, we receive and store that correspondence in order to respond to you.
• Anonymous usage data: We use privacy-friendly analytics (not Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our website in aggregate. This data does not identify you personally. No tracking pixels or third-party advertising tags are used.

We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or profiling. We do not collect payment card information through this website — billing is handled separately through invoicing.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Respond to your inquiry or request
• Provide and deliver consulting services you have engaged us for
• Send you project-related communications (status updates, deliverables, invoices)
• Improve our website based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

4. How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use Web3Forms to route contact form submissions to our inbox. Web3Forms receives the data you submit through the form. We do not use other third-party processors that receive identifiable visitor data.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or protect the safety of others.
• Business transfers: If Parallel 41 is acquired or merges with another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

5. Analytics and tracking

We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track you across websites and do not use cookies. The analytics data we collect is aggregated — it tells us things like how many people visited a page this week, not who specifically visited it.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other advertising or behavioral tracking tools. Our stance on privacy is consistent with our security-by-design approach to AI: we only collect what we need, and we protect what we collect.

6. Data retention

We retain contact form submissions and email correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain records of our interactions. For active client engagements, we retain project-related communications and files for a minimum of three years after the engagement ends, as required for business and legal recordkeeping. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 7).

7. Your rights

Regardless of where you are located, you may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements
• Opt out of any future marketing communications (we currently send none)

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. Communications are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We do not store contact form data in a database — submissions are routed directly to our inbox. No security measure is perfect; if you have concerns about transmitting sensitive information, contact us directly by email.

9. Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any personal information.

11. Governing law

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of the State of Utah. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws. We honor those rights regardless of your location — see Section 7 for how to exercise them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted prominently. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
