Study side by side.
Scripture study for iPhone, iPad and Mac: two texts side by side, marks and notes on any words, and group study that members do on their own schedules.
In development. Coming to the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Open two texts side by side and they scroll together: a chapter beside another edition, a talk beside the verses it quotes, or your notes beside the page. Either pane can lead, and one tap unlinks them.
Study with others on your own schedules. Share a plan with your family or class, and each person reads, marks and leaves a note or a short voice thought when they get to it, with no call to schedule.
Latter-day Saints who read two texts at once (a passage beside another edition, or a talk beside its verse), families who study apart in the same week, and small groups who swap notes and voice thoughts without a live call.
What Liken does for you.
Two texts, one page
Side-by-side reading with linked scrolling. Compare editions, put a talk beside its verse, or keep your notes beside the text.
Mark any words
Marks, notes and tags on exactly the words you choose, not only whole verses, kept in study sets you can show or hide.
Group study, on your own time
Share a study plan with family or a class. Everyone reads when they can and replies with a note or a voice thought.
Workspaces that remember
Save a set of panes, places and notes as a workspace and come back to it exactly as you left it.
Listen
The chapter read aloud in a natural voice, at your speed, verse by verse, keeping your place.
The text, exactly as published
Nothing rewrites or paraphrases scripture. Every word is shown as it was published.
Podcasts beside the week
Follow the study podcasts you like and play this week's episode beside the chapter it's about, in audio or video.
What it costs
Planned as a free download with a one-time unlock that covers the whole family through Family Sharing. No subscription. The price isn't set until it's live on the App Store.
Your data stays yours
Your notes, marks and plans live on your devices and in your own iCloud. Parallel 41 runs no server for Liken and sees nothing you read or write.
